A high-value individual and two street-level individuals were apprehended in separate buy-bust operations in Parañaque City early Monday morning, 12 July.

At about 3:55 a.m., operatives of the Parañaque City Police Station's Drug Enforcement Unit arrested alias JR, 24, a listed street-level individual during a buy-bust operation along Ninoy Aquino Avenue, Barangay San Dionisio, Parañaque City.

Seized from the suspect were approximately 7 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated standard drug price value of P47,600 along with the buy-bust money and other non-drug evidence.

Later that evening, at about 9:55 p.m., operatives of the Muntinlupa City Police Station's Drug Enforcement Unit arrested alias Tigas, 42, a listed high-value individual, and alias Spin, 27, a listed street-level individual, during another buy-bust operation along East Service Road, Barangay Alabang, Muntinlupa City that resulted in the seizure of approximately 8.4 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated standard drug price of P57,120.

Combined, the two anti-illegal drug operations resulted in the seizure of approximately 15.4 grams of suspected shabu with a total estimated standard drug price value of P104,720.

The arrested suspects will face charges for violations of Sections 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) and 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act No. 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
