A suspected high-value drug personality was apprehended by police authorities during a targeted operation in Barangay Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City early Sunday morning.

The arrest was conducted around 1 p.m. following the service of a search warrant issued by the Pasig City Regional Trial Court Branch 154, in connection with alleged violations of Section 11, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Authorities recovered five heat-sealed plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu weighing approximately 30.9 grams with an estimated street value of P210,120, which were found inside a marked pouch.

The 35-year-old male suspect, who is a resident of the area, is now being held at the Pasig City Police Station custodial facility while the necessary legal complaints are prepared for filing.

The confiscated evidence has been turned over to the forensic unit of the Eastern Police District in Mandaluyong City, where it will undergo official laboratory examination to confirm its composition as part of the ongoing judicial proceedings.
