The inaugural MU New Dawn SEA Grand Championship will take place in Manila on 11 July, marking the culmination of the game's first regional tournament circuit.
Organized by game publisher PlayPark, the event brings together national champions from the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Competitors will vie for the title of MU New Dawn Grand Champion in the franchise's first official cross-country tournament.
The championship features two main competitive categories designed to test different aspects of competitive play. In Solo Mode, national champions from all five participating countries will compete in a one-on-one format that tests individual strategy and mechanical skill to determine the ultimate solo champion.
For Team Mode, elite three-player squads representing Thailand, the Philippines, and a combined Southeast Asia team will clash in tactical battles for the regional squad title.
To ensure a fair playing field, tournament organizers said all matches will be played using standardized tournament accounts. This format removes gear advantages so that outcomes are determined strictly by player skill and coordination.
Full tournament mechanics are available on the official event website.
The event shares the stage with the PlayPark All-Stars SEA Finals 2026. The co-headlining tournament represents PlayPark's first regional multi-title esports championship in more than a decade.
According to tournament organizers, the dual event marks a defining milestone for regional esports, bringing together top players from multiple gaming titles on a single stage.
Fans can watch the matches live in person or through official PlayPark and MU New Dawn livestream channels. Additional tournament updates and exclusive content will be posted on the publisher's social media platforms throughout the event.
