The Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC) has confirmed that the extremist group 764 has been active and recruiting members since last year, noting that the Philippine National Police (PNP) had saved 24 minors recruited by the said group.
“Through our coordination with the Philippine National Police and other law enforcement agencies, several minors who directly reported to and sought assistance from the PNP have already been rescued from October 2025 up to the present. A total of 24 minors have been rescued. In light of the recent incidents linked to the so-called Group 764, authorities have intensified their investigation into the adult groomers involved in recruiting and exploiting these children.” CICC deputy executive director, Assistant Secretary Alvin Navarro, said during the “Bagong Pilipinas Ngayon” program on Friday.
