  • Police served a judicial warrant of arrest on Monday afternoon, 29 June 2026, to a 26-year-old taxi driver currently held at a detention facility in Pasay City for a previous offense.

The accused, identified only by the alias Markhil, faces formal legal processing following the service of a court-issued warrant for reckless imprudence resulting in homicide.

The service of the warrant transpired around 3:50 p.m. inside the Kalayaan outpost detention facility of Sub-Station 9, located in Barangay 201, Pasay City, where the suspect was already under police custody for a separate matter.

The tracker team implemented the operation on the strength of an active warrant of arrest issued by Judge Belen Salespara-Carasig of Parañaque City Metropolitan Trial Court Branch 88, with a recommended bail bond of P30,000.

The accused was turned over to the warrant and subpoena section of the Pasay City Police Station for proper documentation and procedural processing prior to the official return of the warrant to the court of origin.
