This province is gearing up for the 8th Lubao International Balloon and Music Festival (LIBMF) that will be held on 7 to 8 March 2026, at the Pradera Verde in the town of Lubao, Pampanga.
According to Event Chairman Noel Castro, 100,000 tourists are expected to flock the said event that will showcase aerial exhibitions and headline concerts, adding that the “world-class entertainment” highlights a mix of international balloon participation and mainstream music acts.
The said LIBMF event will feature 45 aircrafts on display from 14 countries, including 26 full-sized hot air balloons and 19 mini remote-controlled balloons. Activities will include morning and late afternoon balloon launches (weather permitting), night glow exhibitions, helicopter rides and ultralight aircraft demonstrations.
Organizer Rambo Nuñez said, “We are ready to welcome tens of thousands of guests for a safe and unforgettable experience. The Lubao International Balloon and Music Festival continues to grow each year, and our goal is to deliver world-class entertainment while ensuring that security, logistics and crowd management are fully in place.”
Nuñez will be working alongside Stakeholder and Engagement Lead Royce Castro and the local government of Lubao headed by Mayor Esmie Pineda and Councilor Jay Pineda Victorino.
Security operations are being coordinated with the Lubao police, led by Lubao PNP Task Unit Commander for Security Dederick Relativo, as part of a broader crowd control and safety plan.
Mayor Pineda earlier assured the public of the municipality’s full support in ensuring peace and order during the event.
