The vehicle of Maria Teresa “Tess” Mamac, the missing widow of a barangay captain in Pampanga, was found abandoned at Magalang Plaza on Valentine’s Day.

Mamac is the widow of the late Rodelio “Tony” Mamac, former longtime barangay captain of Balibago, Angeles City. She has been missing since 13 February, following her last known sighting on the evening of 12 February between 8:45 p.m. and 8:49 p.m.

Authorities said some of her personal belongings — including her bag, wallet, mobile phone and identification cards — were recovered inside her white Toyota Innova.

CCTV footage reviewed by investigators shows that Mamac’s driver, who has been identified by the Philippine National Police as a person of interest, was the one who left the vehicle at the plaza. Mamac’s children confirmed this detail.

Meanwhile, Pampanga 1st District Rep. Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin has offered a P200,000 reward to anyone who can provide credible information leading to Mamac’s whereabouts.

“Anyone with information on Tess Mamac’s whereabouts may reach out to the office of Cong Pogi or the Angeles City Police Office,” Lazatin said.

Authorities continue to conduct an active search as the investigation remains ongoing.
