Barron Trump joins new $1-M yerba mate beverage startup

Public filings in Florida and Delaware show Barron Trump as one of five directors of SOLLOS Yerba Mate Inc., a beverage startup headquartered near the Trump family’s Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida.

The company has raised $1 million (approximately P50 million) in capital through a private placement, according to U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission records. It describes itself as a lifestyle beverage brand built around clean and functional ingredients, with yerba mate as its flagship product. The caffeinated herbal tea, popular in South America, has gained traction in the U.S. as a coffee alternative.

Other directors listed in the filings include Spencer Bernstein, Rodolfo Castillo, Stephen Hall, and Valentino Gomez. Bernstein and Hall, former classmates of Barron Trump at Oxbridge Academy in Palm Beach, have paused their college studies at Villanova University and the University of Notre Dame, respectively, to focus on the startup’s spring direct-to-consumer launch.

An official launch date for SOLLOS has not been announced. The company’s operations are reportedly tied to North Florida Bottling for production.

If the director listed is the president’s son, this venture follows previous business activities including co-founding the Trump family cryptocurrency firm World Liberty Financial and briefly incorporating a real estate company in Wyoming in 2024. Forbes has estimated Barron Trump’s net worth at around $150 million, largely from cryptocurrency holdings, with additional locked-up tokens that could significantly increase his wealth in the future.

The identity of the Barron Trump listed in the filings has not been independently confirmed, though the Palm Beach address and personal connections suggest he may be the 19-year-old son of President Donald Trump.
