Consular Corps of the Philippines goes golden

Consuls and diplomats gathered at Makati Shangri-La for the 50th Annual Consular Ball. In its golden year, the Consular Corps of the Philippines hosted the ball themed “Light of the World,” honoring individuals who have exuded brilliance through their generosity, vision and service.

Before the evening unfolded, guests took a moment to admire the stunning looks on display. Everyone looked like winners. As for the actual honorees, each had their time in the spotlight, recognized for an impact that shines across communities and even nations. First Lady Liza Marcos also joined them on stage for photo opportunities.

The rest of the evening was filled with hearty applause, impeccable food, fine spirits, and top-tier entertainment — headlined by the one and only Gary V.

Through the years, the Consular Corps has consistently upheld its mission and fostered goodwill. This ball stands as a testament to that enduring commitment.
