In an ambush interview for her latest movie, Bela Padilla refused to comment when asked about the status of her friendship with Angelica Panganiban and Kim Chiu.

“I won’t talk about it muna,” came her curt reply.

Strangely, seconds before she was asked that question, she had said:

“I’m an open book, you know. I don’t really like to hide skeletons in the closet. There’s nothing for me to hide also.”

Padilla’s reported falling out with Panganiban allegedly began when netizens noticed that she was not included in Panganiban’s 15 July Instagram post about the moments and people she was grateful for. Chiu was included in the post, making Padilla’s exclusion all the more noticeable.

Netizens also speculated that Padilla’s revelation about Chiu freezing her eggs caused friction in their friendship.

This led to speculation that their popular celebrity friendship trio, collectively known as “AngBeKi,” was no longer intact. The moniker comes from the first syllables of their names.

Netizens weighed in on Padilla’s decision not to talk about her friendship with Panganiban and Chiu.

“Just like Bela says, less talk, less mistakes. Not everything should be shared, especially personal matters. What about respecting and honoring your friends’ privacy?” one fan said.

“Angelica and Kim are just being quiet. That’s how it should be. Fights are normal. Totally normal. It’s impossible to have friendships that last without any disagreements. Another fan blamed Padilla for the reported friction, saying:
