Plantation Bay Resort and Spa marked its 30th anniversary in true festive style, bringing together longtime friends, loyal supporters and familiar faces from Cebu’s vibrant social scene.

Founder and visionary Manny Gonzalez happily welcomed guests, as everyone gathered to raise a glass to three remarkable decades filled with cherished memories, meaningful milestones and the resorts enduring journey.  

Invitees were requested to come in white or champagne and the dress code made for a beautiful chic gathering. Wine flowed throughout the evening as hors d’oeuvres were served, giving everyone plenty of time to catch up and reminisce.

There was a wonderful sense of camaraderie through the celebration, with many guests sharing stories of their own memories. For some, it was a chance to look back at family holidays and special occasions, while for others, it was simply an evening to reconnect with friends and celebrate a place that has been part of Cebu’s social life for three decades.

As always, Plantation Bays employees were among the stars of the evening. Their much-awaited performances took guests on a fun trip down memory lane, looking back at the resorts three-decade journey through music, dance and a good dose of humor. It was also a fitting tribute to the employees who have been an important part of the resorts story through the years.

The evening reached its high point with a fabulous fireworks display. The sky over the resort burst into brilliant colors, drawing cheers and applause from the crowd.  It was a spectacular sight and a fitting way to mark such a significant milestone. And as the last fireworks faded, guests lingered a little longer, savoring the evening and the memories it had created.

Thirty years is certainly something worth celebrating, and Plantation Bay Resort marked the milestone in grand style, with good company, cherished memories and plenty of sparkle.

From the elegant gathering to the festive atmosphere, every detail reflected the spirit of Plantation Bay: warm, gracious and effortlessly glamorous. It was more than an anniversary celebration; it was a toast to 30 remarkable years and to the many memories still waiting to be made.
