Ayala alerts public on fake Spinneys investment scam

Ayala Corporation has alerted the public about fraudulent online accounts posing as Spinneys Philippines.

The fake Facebook page (@spinneysphilippines2025) and Viber account (@spineysph) are reportedly using the Ayala name to promote a supposed investment scheme.

These unauthorized accounts are asking individuals to send money with promises of guaranteed returns. Ayala Corporation emphasized that it is not connected to, nor does it endorse, these activities. The company stated that all official announcements are only made through its verified channels.

“Please refer to Ayala Corporation’s official website and authenticated social media pages for accurate information and updates,” the company advised.

Ayala also urged the public to remain vigilant, noting that scammers are increasingly exploiting the names of trusted organizations to attract victims. Potential investors are advised to be cautious of offers that appear unusually lucrative or suspicious.
