The operational standards of the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) are being sought by established Philippine industry players, with AboitizPower’s private limited partnership GN Power Dinginin (GNPD) being the latest to conduct benchmarking activities at the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB).

According to AFAB, the Port Services Division of the FAB Enterprise Department served as a resource speaker during GN Power Dinginin’s Amplify to Comply v.2.0, an initiative aimed at strengthening regulatory awareness among its employees.

The session refreshed participants on port services processes and applicable regulations within the Freeport Area of Bataan, reinforcing compliance, operational efficiency, and coordination with FAB-registered enterprises.

The initiative aims to strengthen, expand, and upgrade internal processes, security measures, and documentation to meet regulatory, legal, or industry standards.

It involves transforming foundational policies and utilizing specialized tools to ensure full compliance, with a focus on enhancing data privacy, security, and risk management.

Key aspects include evaluating current practices and implementing updated policies to ensure compliance within four weeks; building trust by enhancing security, documenting procedures, and managing third-party risks; and ensuring accurate, secure, and regulated use of information.
