For Ivana Alawi, luxury has its limits—even when it comes wrapped in crocodile leather and global prestige.
In a recent closet tour vlog, the actress revealed she is considering selling one of the most expensive items in her collection: a Hermès Himalayan crocodile Kelly bag.
Despite its rarity and estimated value of more than P25 million, the bag has barely been used. Alawi said she purchased the luxury piece in Japan, but excitement quickly gave way to fear after realizing how precious it was.
“Ito ’yong pinakamahal kong bag. Gusto ko na siya ibenta. Hindi ko siya nagagamit,” she said. “Special siya pero hindi ko kayang gamitin. Once ko lang nagamit siya tapos natakot ako.”
Alawi explained that the decision has little to do with status and more to do with practicality and safety. Owning one of the world’s most coveted luxury bags came with constant worry — something she ultimately found difficult to live with.
