Club Bulakeño celebrates its annual ball, now in its 36th year, a truly epic achievement.
Through the years, the club has continued its mission, ushering in a new era of service and excellence. The Rizal Ballroom of Makati Shangri-La served as the perfect setting, welcoming guests dressed in Filipiniana. The ballroom was teeming with glamorous, creative and modern interpretations of our national attire, perfectly complementing the event’s theme, “La Bulakeña,” inspired by National Artist Juan Luna’s masterpiece.
The evening opened with a captivating performance by past presidents and current officers, who danced the Rigodon de Honor. This was followed by special moments celebrating Bulakeño culture and excellence, including a fashion parade featuring accomplished Filipina beauties and the recognition of deserving changemakers and loyal supporters of the club.
Club Bulakeño presidents Arnold Reyes and Maru Go led the evening with both glamour and grace as they continued the club’s mission of supporting the citizens of Bulacan through meaningful initiatives. They also honored this year’s special guests, including Bulacan Governor Daniel Fernando and Vice Governor Alex Castro, who received the “Huwarang Anak ng Bulacan” Award, along with other distinguished awardees.
There is so much to celebrate about Bulacan — no wonder the Club Bulakeño Ball has thrived for 36 years. I look forward to the club’s new milestones through the proceeds of this event and its other projects. Cheers!
