The Province of Aurora formally opened its observance of Bible Month with a launching ceremony led by the Provincial Human Resource Management Office (PHRMO) at the Provincial Capitol Grounds in Baler, Aurora on 5 January 2026.

The event coincided with the launch of the Provincial Government’s Moral Recovery Program and featured a series of activities, beginning with an ecumenical service attended by faith leaders from various religious groups.

Among those present were Pastor Raul Drequito of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Rev. Pastor Vincent Sollano of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Pastor Ronnie Cerezo of the Jesus Is Alive Community, Imam Pangaronan A. Capal of the Muslim community, and Ma. Teresa P. De Luna of the Provincial Government Department of Health–Environment and Natural Resources Office (PGDH-ENRO).

Vice Governor Patrick Alexis Angara delivered the opening message, followed by Governor Isidro P. Galban, who highlighted the importance of the Word of God as a guide in public service and in the daily lives of individuals.

Pastor Samson C. Serdeña later discussed the Moral Recovery Program theme, “The Purpose of Our Work,” offering reflections on the meaning of duty and responsibility in serving the community.

The second part of the program featured the distribution of Bibles, accompanied by a spiritual message from Pastor Aldrin Binuya of the Independent Bible Baptist Church. A Thanksgiving Mass, celebrated by Father Baltazar P. Ronato, followed as an expression of gratitude and blessing for the event.

The program concluded with a fellowship activity aimed at strengthening unity and cooperation among participants. The event was hosted by Masters of Ceremony Shierwin H. Taay and Armida C. Palispis.

Organizers said the activity underscores the continued collaboration between the Provincial Government of Aurora and various religious sectors in promoting morality, faith, and good governance in the province.
