According to the Nueva Ecija Police Provincial Office (NEPPO), the suspect was identified as alias “Buboy,” a 44-year-old helper, single, and a resident of Barangay San Pascual, Talavera, Nueva Ecija.
NEPPO Provincial Director Heryl L. Bruno said the suspect was arrested during an anti-illegal gun buy-bust operation carried out by elements of the Nampicuan Police Station in the said barangay.
Seized during the operation was one caliber .38 revolver.
The suspect is set to face charges for violation of R.A. 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
