CAAP debunks social media claims of nonstop Bulacan–Laoag flights

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) has denied social media claims that an airstrip in Bulacan has been operating “non-stop” flights to Laoag International Airport.
Posts circulating on Facebook alleged that an aircraft had been flying continuously from Bulacan to Laoag in recent days, with some insinuating that the alleged flights were transporting cargo. Another post claimed that flights to Laoag were “the only destination” served by the airstrip and questioned whether there were connecting flights to Singapore.
CAAP said the claims are false.
In a statement, the agency clarified that no special, unscheduled, or unauthorized flights have taken place in either Bulacan or Laoag, adding that all recorded aircraft movements remain within regular operations.
The aviation agency urged the public to rely on verified information and avoid spreading unverified claims about aviation activity.
