SM Supermalls, in partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), introduced Digital Corners at SM Job Fairs during the J.O.B.S. Immersion for SHS 2025 at SM City North EDSA Skydome on 6 November 2025.
The Digital Corners are free, open-access hubs offering job seekers training in digital literacy, Python, Google Career Certificates, networking, coding, cybersecurity, and online entrepreneurship. “We’re turning job fairs into job-and-learning fairs—places where opportunity and capability meet,” said Junias M. Eusebio, SM Supermalls VP for Mall Operations. The initiative aims to benefit thousands of Filipinos, especially graduating SHS students entering the workforce.
Nearly 1,000 SHS students attended the launch, part of the Enhanced Work Immersion Pilot (EWIP), which expands immersion hours from 80–320 to 420–640 hours. Industry partners like SM Retail and Newport World Resorts provided students with career guidance, workplace insights, and hands-on exposure in sectors such as retail, hospitality, and technology.
Marking 40 years of operations, SM Supermalls continues to serve as a platform for workforce development, linking job seekers with employers and supporting inclusive economic growth across its 88 malls nationwide.
