Festival Mall lights 30-foot Christmas tree to open Filinvest holiday festivities

The holiday season is officially underway at Festival Mall Alabang following the grand lighting of its 30-foot Christmas tree, a centerpiece that marks the start of Filinvest Malls’ Christmas celebrations across its nationwide network.

Adorned with capiz lanterns, classic ornaments, stockings, and nutcracker figures, the tree highlights this year’s theme, “Christmas Memories,” which celebrates Filipino holiday traditions and the warmth of family gatherings.

“Tonight, as we gather here for this year’s Christmas Tree Lighting, our celebration embraces the theme Christmas Memories — a tribute to the warmth of Filipino family traditions and the joy of coming together as a community,” said Festival Mall General Manager Yvette Dizon, who welcomed community partners and guests at the event.

Muntinlupa Mayor Ruffy Biazon, Vice Mayor Stephanie Teves Wong, and barangay and Filinvest executives also attended the ceremony, underscoring the celebration’s message of community and compassion.

As part of its annual CSR initiative, Filinvest Malls partnered with the Muntinlupa Social Services Department to host children with special needs for a day of games, rides, and activities. Each child received a holiday gift, described by the organizers as “a simple gesture of love and hope.”

The lighting was followed by a choir performance that filled the mall atrium with Christmas carols.

Filinvest Malls’ holiday festivities will continue at its properties nationwide, including Fora Mall Tagaytay, Main Square Bacoor, Filinvest Malls Dumaguete, IL Corso Cebu, Filinvest Malls Mimosa, and Westgate Alabang. Activities will include concerts, raffles, bazaars, meet-and-greet events with Santa, and community performances throughout November and December.
