The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Wednesday announced that it will release the Year-End Bonus (YEB) and cash gift for its active personnel and retirees on 13 November.
PNP Public Information Office chief and spokesperson P/BGen. Randulf Tuaño said the 227,693 active police personnel will receive a total of P8.73 billion, while 2,807 retirees will get P92.83 million in bonuses.
"This early release not only boosts the morale of our active and retired personnel but also underscores the government’s appreciation for their relentless service,” Tuaño said.
“We encourage everyone to use this bonus wisely and continue their commitment to the safety and security of our communities,” he added.
The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) confirmed that the YEB, equivalent to one month’s basic salary, and a P5,000 cash gift will be released with the first agency payroll of November.
Under DBM guidelines, all government employees, including regular, contractual, casual, part-time, and full-time workers, who have rendered at least four months of service from 1 January to 31 October 2025, and remain in service as of 31 October, are entitled to the bonus and cash gift.
Palace Press Officer Atty. Clair Castro earlier said the early release of the YEB and cash gift reflects the administration’s acknowledgment of the contribution of public servants.
