Mayor Nancy Binay treats Makati families to Enchanted Kingdom
What was once a simple city hall gathering turned into an unforgettable day of joy and family bonding, as Mayor Nancy Binay led the city’s first-ever Thanksgiving Family Day Celebration at Enchanted Kingdom on 31 October 2025.
Breaking tradition, the city government brought the celebration beyond the Makati City Hall grounds, treating 400 families—about 1,600 residents in total—to a full day at the country’s premier theme park. The city provided free transportation via 35 buses, complete meals and snacks, and P1,000 worth of Wizard Money per family for park use, giving participants a rare opportunity to enjoy a magical day with their loved ones.
Beneficiaries included daycare students, 4Ps program members, solo parents, persons with disabilities, and street and urban working children, all accompanied by their families.
Councilors Mayeth Casal-Uy, Bernadette Sese, Arlene Ortega, Ferdie Eusebio, Levy Ramboyong, King Yabut, Ina Sarosa, Maribel Vitales, and Joel Ariones joined the festivities, alongside Enchanted Kingdom President and CEO Cesar Mario O. Mamon and Cynthia Mamon, who welcomed the Makati delegation to the park.
The initiative reflected Mayor Binay’s continuing push to make Makati’s public programs more inclusive and meaningful for families, highlighting that public service can also create moments of joy and connection — one magical day at a time.
