AC Bonifacio cast in K-pop thriller ‘Perfect Girl'

Pinay actress and content creator AC Bonifacio is cast in the K-pop thriller Perfect Girl.

Bonifacio's inclusion in the movie was confirmed in a Deadline report of the cast, 31 October.

"K-Pop thriller Perfect Girl adds eight including KPop Demon Hunters star May Hong, AC Bonifacio, Nancy McDonie and Thai singer Ally. Filming underway and Jeon Somi confirmed for soundtrack," the Deadline announcement read.

Accompanying the short announcement were photos of the cast: May Hong, Peter Lee Jae Yoon, Samantha Cochran, AC Bonifacio, Ally, Nancy from Momoland, Iyoon from Billlie, and Chaerin from Cherry Bullet.

"Described as “Scream meets Black Swan,” the film charts the story of a new K-pop super group preparing for their debut," the report said.

Providing the gist of the story, the report added: “With only four spots available in the band and the final cut a week away, the competition is off the charts. When a talented and mysterious new girl is introduced at the last minute, things start to get strange — girls are being hunted and attacked one by one, but who is responsible for the carnage, and more importantly… who will make the final cut?”

Bonifacio, a Star Magic artist, started her career as the winner of Dance Kids in 2016. Among her notable performance was as Vixen in Riverdale episode in 2021 titled "Chapter Eighty-Three: Firefox in the Sky."

Currently, she is set to appear in the forthcoming series Roja. She was previously seen as a housemate of Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition.
