Now You See Me: Now You Don’t actor Jesse Eisenberg is reportedly preparing to undergo surgery to donate one of his kidneys to a complete stranger in need.
Sources close to Eisenberg confirmed that he has spent the past several months quietly undergoing medical evaluations and compatibility testing as part of a paired donation program.
“I’m actually donating my kidney in six weeks. I don’t know why. I got bitten by the blood donation bug. I’m doing an altruistic donation in mid-December. I’m so excited to do it,” Eisenberg said during a guest appearance on the TODAY show.
The procedure is scheduled to take place in December.
Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, and Isla Fisher are returning as the Four Horsemen in Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, the third installment of the popular Now You See Me film series. The movie is scheduled to premiere in Philippine cinemas on 12 November.
