DAR among CSC’s top performing agencies for complaints resolution

The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) has been recognized by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) as one of the Top 10 Consistent Performing Agencies in Complaints Resolution and Compliance from 2022 to 2025, reaffirming its commitment to responsive and accountable public service.

The award was presented on 17 October at the CSC Resource Center Auditorium in Quezon City. It honors government agencies that demonstrated exemplary performance in public assistance through the Contact Center ng Bayan (CCB).

The CCB Partner Recognition Award forms part of the CSC’s annual Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA) celebration, which this year marks its 125th anniversary under the theme “Pasasalamat Program.” The award recognizes agencies that consistently maintain high resolution and compliance rates in addressing public feedback and complaints referred by the CCB.

CSC Chairperson Marilyn B. Yap lauded the awardees for their dedication to effective and citizen-centered governance.

“Our partner agencies have shown that excellence in public service is not only about efficiency, but about compassion and accountability. Their consistent performance inspires trust and strengthens our shared mission to make government truly responsive to the people,” Yap said.

Earlier, the CSC also recognized the DAR as one of the top three government agencies with the highest resolution and compliance rates for customer feedback from January to December 2023. The Plaque of Recognition for that achievement was awarded on October 22, 2024, at the Minister’s Conference Room, DAR Central Office.

At the forefront of DAR’s public service initiatives is the Clientele Relations Service (CRS) under the Legal Affairs Office (LAO), which handles public queries, requests for assistance, and client feedback from DAR stakeholders nationwide.

DAR’s consistent recognition by the CSC underscores its dedication to transparency, accountability, and quality service delivery — values that define its continuing role as a champion of agrarian reform and public trust.
