Former actress Nadia Montenegro, a staff of Senator Robin Padilla, has denied allegations that she was smoking Marijuana inside the Senate premises.
In an incident report from the Office of the Sergeant-at-Arms, Montenegro admitted to carrying vape instead.
Victor Patelo, one of the members of OSAA, reported two incidents involving "an unusual scent/odor allegedly emanating from the ladies' comfort room near the Senators extension offices."
The first time occurred in July, while the second happened late afternoon 12 August.
Montenegro allegedly was the only person in the area when the "unusual" scent was detected.
“Ms. Montenegro denied smoking inside the ladies’ comfort room or using marijuana for that matter, but acknowledged possessing a vape in her bag, which she said could have produced the unusual scent reported earlier by Senator Lacson’s staff,” Patelo's report read.
Montenegro has been directed to submit a written explanation.
