Online personality and viral content creator Poca is turning digital fame into cinematic magic as he marks his first-ever movie role in the upcoming film Meg & Ryan, set for showing this August 6.
In a heartfelt social media post, Poca opened up about the emotional experience of seeing himself on the big screen for the first time.
“While everyone was laughing during my scenes because of my jokes, ako naman teary-eyed because this experience is just pure magic for me,” he wrote. “I can’t believe that I’ll be seeing myself acting on the big screen—while being watched by people closest to my heart!”
Grateful for the support he received on and off camera, Poca gave special thanks to director Catherine Camarillo, actor JC Santos—whom he described as a constant guide on set—and the team behind PM Productions Inc. for making him feel welcome in the world of filmmaking.
“JUSKO! SALAMAT!,” he added, tagging the friends and fans who’ve been with him from the start.
From punchlines to premieres, Poca’s leap from social media star to movie actor is a milestone he’s savoring with deep gratitude—and a few happy tears.
