The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) will deploy 1,329 personnel to ensure smooth traffic flow and emergency readiness during President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s fourth State of the Nation Address on Sunday, 28 July.

The agency said the personnel will be tasked with traffic management, pedestrian safety, crowd control, emergency response, and road clearing operations in areas leading to and around the Batasang Pambansa complex.

A no-day-off, no-absence policy will be in effect for MMDA field traffic units to ensure full coverage. Ambulances, fire trucks, tow trucks, mobile patrols, motorcycles, and flood response equipment will also be stationed at key locations to support the day’s operations.
