The Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) rose 16.17 points or 0.26 percent to 6,311.72 as of 9:48 AM on 18 July 2025, showing early signs of strength in Friday morning trading.
DigiPlus Interactive Corp. (PLUS) topped the most active list with P449 million in trades, priced at P14.50 after falling 5.04 points or 25.79 percent. BDO Unibank, Inc. (BDO) followed with P50.6 million in value and gained 3.10 points to P152.00, up 2.08 percent. SM Investments Corporation (SM) was third most active, down 1.39 percent to P818.00.
Leading the list of top gainers was Jackstones, Inc. (JAS), which rose 14.29 percent to P2.00. It was joined by 8990 Holdings, Inc. (HOUSE), up 9.78 percent to P10.10, and Seafront Resources Corporation (SPM), up 6.80 percent to P2.67.
On the declines board, Island Information & Technology, Inc. (IS) fell 9.80 percent to P0.092, while PH Resorts Group Holdings, Inc. (PHR) slipped 9.30 percent to P0.195.
