In a recent interview, Joshua Garcia shared a now-viral, laugh-out-loud anecdote involving his It’s Okay To Not Be Okay co-star Anne Curtis — one that had fans howling and the internet asking, “Bakit nga ba amoy tulingan?”
According to Joshua, the awkward (yet oddly endearing) moment happened during the shoot of an intimate scene near the ocean.
“May nakakahiya akong experience! Kasi dagat kami nu’n. Mga fish-fish kinakain namin. So nag-lunch kami,” he began with a chuckle.
Hours later, with the cameras rolling and emotions high, the romantic scene took a surprising turn—thanks to an unexpected burp.
“Nu’ng kinagabihan may intimate scene kami, napadighay ako! Tapos naamoy ni Anne!”
“Sabi niya, ‘Dumighay ka ba?’ Sabi ko, ‘Oo.’ Tapos sabi niya, ‘Ang baho!’”
Despite trying to play it off — “Hinipan ko pa, naamoy pa rin!” — the damage was done, and Anne couldn’t help but throw in the now-iconic line:
“Bakit amoy tulingan?!”
The hilarious confession, which quickly made the rounds online, is a testament to the genuine camaraderie between Joshua and Anne — who fans say have undeniable chemistry both on and offscreen.
“At least, ‘di ba, sobrang comfortable namin sa isa’t-isa,” Joshua added. “Sobrang nakakahiya nu’n, pero natawa na lang kami.”
