After more than 20 years in the entertainment industry, Sam Concepcion is entering a new phase in his career — making his official acting debut on GMA Network through the upcoming primetime series Beauty Empire, premiering 7 July on GMA Prime.
Known for his versatility as a singer, dancer, and actor, the 32-year-old artist is embracing the fresh energy of this new creative environment.
“It feels amazing,” Sam said of his experience. “Everyone has been so welcoming and helpful. From the cast to the production team, it’s been such a great experience. I couldn’t be prouder of this project.”
Beauty Empire is a collaboration between GMA Public Affairs, Viu, and CreaZion Studios. The show blends glamour, revenge, and drama set against the competitive world of beauty and business, offering a sleek, cinematic take on the traditional teleserye format.
“What drew me to Beauty Empire was the collaboration,” Sam said. “You feel it right away — this is something different. The writing, the visuals, the cast—it’s pushing boundaries. We’re creating content that’s entertaining and well-made.”
Sam stars alongside Kapuso actresses Barbie Forteza and Kyline Alcantara, both known for their range and screen presence.
“They’re incredibly talented,” he said. “As an actor, that’s all you can ask for — scene partners who are smart, grounded, and generous. It’s been a joy working with them.”
The series also features an impressive ensemble cast including Gloria Diaz, Ruffa Gutierrez, Choi Bo-min, Sid Lucero, and Chai Fonacier. This mix of seasoned names and rising stars gives Beauty Empire its broad appeal, with a lineup that spans generations and cultures.
Beauty Empire was officially launched during a contract signing on 17 March at GMA Network Studios. The show will air Mondays to Thursdays at 9:35 PM on GMA Prime, with a delayed telecast on GTV at 11:25 PM.
For Sam, the show marks more than just a network debut — it’s a key moment in his acting career.
“It’s a great feeling to be part of something like this,” he says. “We’re telling bold stories. We’re making something beautiful.”
With his Kapuso debut, Sam Concepcion adds another dimension to his artistic journey — proving that great storytelling transcends networks.
