A 41-year-old woman identified as a newly listed street-level drug suspect was arrested by Taguig City police during a buy-bust operation in Barangay New Lower Bicutan early Wednesday.
The suspect, alias “Khatherine,” was apprehended around 12:05 AM on 26 June. Authorities recovered 15 sachets of suspected shabu weighing approximately 26.6 grams with an estimated street value of P180,880.
Also seized were P500 marked money, a black coin purse, and P1,000 in boodle money.
All confiscated items will be submitted to the Southern Police District (SPD) Forensic Unit for laboratory examination. Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being prepared against the suspect.
The operation was led by PCol. Byron Allatog, officer-in-charge of the Taguig City Police, in coordination with the SPD.
