Fun overflowed at the Cork Wine Bar and Shop, one of Manila’s premiere wine destinations. Maison Barrière, in collaboration with the wine bar, hosted the Bordeaux Rendezvous 2025. The Philippines was one of the stops of this prestigious Southeast Asian tour. The rest of the stops also includes Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.
It was a one-of-a-kind experience! We got to try 65 wines from 21 Grand
Crus Classés Châteaux. Where else can you try the region’s finest vintage wines? I was lucky to join many VIP guests — including Senator Chiz Escudero and First Lady Liza Marcos. Together we got to appreciate so many flavors and treat our tastebuds to the finest wines.
Such a delicious and luxurious celebration. More than that, it celebrates the craft and tradition of Bordeaux winemaking. Huge thanks to Cork and the team for inviting me to this exclusive event. Cheers!
Got the amazing opportunity to join Sake Manila to discover Japan’s treasures — sake from different regions! From Koedo Kagamiyama Brewery, Honda Shorten, Manotsuru and beyond, we got to sample the different brews from across Japan. It all happened one fun-filled night at the Okada Grand Ballroom.
Cultural performances and kimono-wearing beauties also graced us that evening. And of course, what is some sake without Japanese cuisine? We got to enjoy an overflowing buffet making sure we’re having a ball all night. We stayed ‘til they poured the last drop, and by then, we were brimming with joy. I’m glad I got to do it with some of my good gal pals. It was definitely a night to remember. Congratulations to the team! ’Til the next pour? Kampai!
