The Office of Vice President Sara Duterte has confirmed receiving the summons issued by the Senate, sitting as the impeachment court.
"The Office of the Vice President confirms receipt of the summons issued by the Senate Impeachment Court at around 11:05 a.m. today," the OVP said in a statement.
The writ of summons was issued to formally notify Duterte and compel her to respond to the articles of impeachment filed against her.
