The Medical City Clinic (TMC Clinic) continues to expand its footprint across the country with the opening of its 73rd clinic on 30 May, 2025, at Filinvest Malls Dumaguete in Barangay Piapi, Dumaguete City.

This new branch is TMC Clinic’s sixth in the Visayas and its eighth in the broader Visayas-Mindanao (VisMin) region. The move underscores the company’s commitment to bringing hospital-quality, patient-centered care to more Filipinos, particularly in underserved areas.

The launch was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by top officials from The Medical City and Filinvest, as well as local stakeholders and community leaders.

NOW fully operational, the Dumaguete branch offers a wide range of outpatient services from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily.

Among those present were Dr. Stuart A. Bennett, President and Group CEO of The Medical City Enterprise, and Mr. Roberto “Bob” A. Muñoz, President and CEO of The Medical City Clinic. They were joined by key members of the TMC Clinic leadership team and local partners including Edward C. Du, President of the Negros Oriental Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NOCCI), and Reggie Reyes, Trustee of the Negros Oriental Dive Association (NORDA).

Filinvest Malls Dumaguete was represented by Thesbe Alonso, Vice President and Mall Head for the VISMIN Cluster, and other members of the operations team.

Now fully operational, the Dumaguete branch offers a wide range of outpatient services from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily. Services include medical consultations, laboratory diagnostics, digital X-ray, ECG, annual physical exams, and pre-employment medical evaluations.

The clinic is also staffed by a roster of doctors from various specialties. Among them are Dr. Gresaneth Claire Cabaces and Dr. Kenny Jay Zamora (Internal Medicine), Dr. Bea Mechelle Busmeon and Dr. Thea Alyssa Ejera (Pediatrics), Dr. Jose Pedrito Magno (ENT), Dr. Aldin Legazpi (Pathology), and Dr. Jose Mari Tagle (Radiology).

Through this latest opening, The Medical City Clinic affirms its mission of delivering “malasakit-driven” healthcare — putting patients’ dignity, rights, and well-being at the forefront of every consultation.
