LIVE UPDATES: Miss World 2025

Miss World 2025 is Thailand's Opal Suchata Chuangsri. She is the first titleholder for the Miss World pageant from her country and was crowned by the 71st Miss World from the Czech Republic, Krystyna Pyszková, at the HITEX Exhibition Center in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

Representing the Philippines, Krishnah Gravidez ended her journey at the Top 8. Later on, as Chuangsri was crowned Miss World 2025, Gravidez, next in line for the continental win, was announced as the new Miss World Asia and Oceania, which was confirmed by Miss World Philippines National Director Arnold Vegafria after the coronation night.

Meanwhile, here are the placements of the rest of the Top 4:
2nd place: Ethiopia – Hasset Dereje Admassu
3rd place: Poland – Maja Klajda
4th place: Martinique – Aurélie Joachim

The Philippines has built a steady track record at Miss World in recent years. Miss Universe 2023 Michelle Dee began her pageant career with Miss World in 2019 and placed in the Top 12, while Miss World Philippines 2021 Tracy Perez made it to the Top 13. The country’s first and only Miss World titleholder, Megan Young, claimed the crown in 2013 and remains a beloved figure by the Miss World Organization.

A step closer to the crown, Krishnah Gravidez made it to the Top 8, the fourth-highest placement for the Philippines after Evangeline Pascual as first runner-up in 1973, Gwendoline Ruais in 2011, and Ruffa Gutierrez (1993) and Catriona Gray (2016), who both placed in the Top 5.
