CABANATUAN CITY, Nueva Ecija — The Nueva Ecija Police Provincial Office (NEPPO) has seized almost half a million pesos worth of illegal drugs during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Padre Crisostomo of this city Sunday.

NEPPO cited that personnel of the Cabanatuan City Police Station conducted an Anti-illegal Drug Buy-bust Operation that led to the arrest of a 43-year-old notorious drug trader from the area.

The report stated that an undercover police operative was able to purchase one heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing 0.20 grams of suspected shabu from the suspect.

During the arrest, two more similar sachets containing an additional 70.20 grams, valued at P477,360 along with the P1,000 buy-bust money, were seized from the suspect’s possession.

In separate operations conducted by Bongabon PS and Palayan City PS, two more drug traders were also arrested, and 1.52 grams of suspected shabu, valued at P10,336.00, were seized.
