BAGUIO CITY — The Abra Provincial Police Office (APPO) is urging the residents of Barangay Sagap, Bangued, Abra to go and cast their votes.
According to the APPO, casting of votes is still being conducted in the polling center Monday. In the morning of the said date, a shooting incident happened.
The police reported that personnel of Bangued Municipal Police Station, together with the Regional Mobile Force Battalion Quick Reaction Team responded to a commotion at Sagap, Bangued, Abra. A few minutes after the cops defused the said commotion, a burst of gunshots was heard coming from the riverside neat the polling place.
The police said that at that time, a gray pick-up truck and a Montero vehicle were seen heading towards Bangued Proper. The police also received a call that there are victims of the shooting incidents that were rushed to the Seares Memorial Hospital. The victims are said to be already in stable condition.
The investigators proceeded to the place of incident to conduct further investigation.
