Songs serve many purposes. It soothes one’s feelings. It lets one walk down memory lane. It inspires, it resuscitates, it invigorates.

And as what singer TJ Monterde experienced, a song can save a relationship.

This happened in one of the successful three-night concert of Monterde when a fan from Super VIP section went to him.

"Lumapit siya sa akin. Nag-picture kami. Umalis siya at after a while bumalik siya. Sabi niya sa akin: 'Could I just tell you. You just saved a 17-year marriage. Ganoon 'yung sinabi niya sa akin (She went closer to me. We had our picture taken. She left and after a while she returned. She told me: 'Could I just tell you. You just saved a 17 year marriage. That's what she said to me)," Monterde related during the mediacon of Dunkin' presents Never 'Bean' Sweeter Fan Meet.

"Noong day three, nandoon uli siya. May kasama na siya. 'TJ, siya 'yung 17 years.' Shocks. Totoo pala na makakatulong "yung music sa buhay ng mga tao (On day three, she was there again. She was with someone. 'TJ, he was the 17 years.' It's true that music helps in the lives of the people)," he said.
