Derek Ramsay quashed rumors that the luxurious 918 Spyder apparently verified by the Land Transportation Office (LTO) with a fake plate number was his.

In his Instagram Story, Ramsay wrote: "I've seen the issue regarding the 918 spyder on social media. I do not drive any cars with fake plates. All my vehicles have proper plates."

He then advised netizens to "please carefully read the statements by LTO to properly understand what is happening" claiming "I have not received any show cause order but I will cooperate and appear when requested."

For all its worth, Ramsay surprisingly apologized as he wrote: "To the LTO I apologize for what is going on. Driving with fake plates is wrong and should not be tolerated."

With this, netizens were baffled as one guy wrote: I’m kinda confused. Why is he apologizing to the LTO, when the LTO is the one that issued the SCO? What is that, does the LTO not know who they're issuing it to?"

Another guy commented: "Yes, just denying that he wasn't the one who drove, but he can't avoid the infraction since the owner is responsible for the license plate. So it seems he's denying that he personally changed the plate. Crazy for such an expensive car. (It's quite a special car, a hypercar and part of the hybrid trinity, I'm sure he wouldn't let just anyone drive this). Also, if it was 'legally' sold, I'm pretty sure he'd say that and produce a deed of sale even if the car hasn't been transferred to the new owner yet."

Vice Ganda takes a swipe at Robin Padilla's 'Bilibid Law'

Vice Ganda, in a recent episode of It's Showtime, seemingly took a swipe at senator Robin Padilla after his wife Mariel Rodriguez's claim that he had passed a bill while in prison in the 1990s.

In a banter, Vice Ganda took notice of Vhong Navarro’s outfit that she joked: “Hiniram mo pa ’yung costume ni Robin Padilla sa Maging Sino Ka Man (You even borrowed the costume of Robin Padilla in Maging Sino Ka Man)."

“E, syempre ’tol, dapat gano’n tayo (Of course, we should be like that),” Navarro replied.

In a quick response, Vice Ganda said: “Galing... Idol ko ’to. Nakakapagpasa ’yan ng batas sa Bilibid (Great...this is my idol... he passed a law in Bilibid)."
