The Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) and Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT-2) will be offering free rides to solo parents on 26 April.
The initiative is in line with the celebration of National Solo Parents Week and upon the request of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
Solo parents may avail of the free rides from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on the said date.
They are advised to bring and present their Solo Parent ID at MRT-3 or LRT-2 stations before boarding.
Aside from the free rides, a one-stop shop caravan will also be held where solo parents may register or renew their Solo Parent ID cards.
