The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) has launched an online database where the public can access up-to-date information on the state of local roads and bridges nationwide.
Through the Local Roads and Bridges Inventory (LRBI), accessible at https://lrbi.dilg.gov.ph/, the public can view details on the status and condition of provincial, city, municipal, and barangay roads and bridges.
Seen as a key tool for planning and policymaking, the LRBI enables stakeholders to assess infrastructure conditions at the local level and prioritize projects based on real-time data.
Data from the DILG shows that as of 31 December 2024, the database included assessments of 167,719.36 kilometers of local roads and 17,065 bridges across the country’s 17 regions, excluding the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.
