BLACKPINK’s Lisa made her highly anticipated solo debut at Coachella 2025 on 11 April, taking over the Sahara Stage with an explosive and genre-defying performance that showcased her latest album, "Alter Egos."

The Thai superstar stunned both fans and critics alike with a 55-minute set that pushed the boundaries of K-pop showmanship and solo artistry.

Opening with "Thunder," the lead single from Alter Egos, Lisa appeared elevated on a central pole amidst flashing strobes, instantly commanding the stage and silencing online critics of her vocal tone with live, high-powered vocals.

Each part of her set was a theatrical experience, reflecting one of the five alter egos she introduced with the album: Roxi, Kiki, Vixi, Sunni, and Speedi.

Wearing five different ensembles that embodied the personalities of her alter egos, Lisa transitioned seamlessly through an intense setlist including "Dream," "LALISA," "When I’m With You," "Chill," and "New Woman." During "Elastigirl," she wowed the audience with difficult floor choreography that had social media buzzing.

For "Money," one of her most iconic solo tracks, she exuded bold charisma, interacting with the crowd and leaning fully into the confident, edgy persona that fans have dubbed “Speedi.”

Perhaps one of the most emotional moments came with "Born Again," where Lisa showcased raw vocals in a stripped-back segment, reminding the audience of her depth as a performer beyond the high-energy bangers. She also gave a nod to her Hollywood debut in "The White Lotus" Season 3, giving a shoutout to her character Mook mid-performance.

Fans quickly coined terms like "LISACHELLA" and "THAICONIC" across social media, celebrating her groundbreaking set and proudly referencing her Thai heritage.

Among the crowd was fellow BLACKPINK member and close friend Rosé, who was seen smiling, dancing, and holding a bouquet of yellow flowers in support. "The White Lotus" co-stars Patrick Schwarzenegger and Tayme Thapthimthong were also spotted enjoying the performance.

Lisa’s setlist spanned not only her new "Alter Egos" album but also fan favorites like "FXCK UP THE WORLD," "Rockstar," "Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me)," and "Lifestyle."

Her now-iconic "everyone silent" move made an appearance to raucous cheers, a callback to BLACKPINK's earlier world tours.

This appearance marked Lisa’s third at Coachella — her first as a solo artist after performing with BLACKPINK in 2019 and 2023. With fellow member Jennie also slated to appear at the festival and K-pop boy group ENHYPEN part of the lineup, K-pop continues to leave a bold imprint on the global stage.

Lisa’s Coachella performance was more than a concert — it was a statement.

With "Alter Egos," she’s not just redefining herself but also what it means to be a solo artist in the K-pop industry.
