Authorities from the Taguig City Police apprehended a man listed as the number two most wanted person in the city for the second quarter of 2025 in a recent anti-criminality operation.
The suspect, identified as alias “Cesar,” was arrested around 4 p.m. on Wednesday at Block 6, Pili Avenue, Barangay West Rembo, Taguig City. The arrest occurred on 9 April 2025.
Police said that the operation was conducted by personnel of the Warrant and Subpoena Section of the Taguig City Police Station, acting on the directive of National Capital Region Police Office director Police Maj. Gen. Anthony A. Aberin and under the guidance of Southern Police District acting director Police Brig. Gen. Joseph R. Arguelles.
Alias “Cesar” was arrested by virtue of two warrants issued on 7 April 2025, by Hon. Loralie Cruz Datahan, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 69, Taguig City. One warrant was for Statutory Acts of Lasciviousness, with a recommended bail of P108,000 and the other was for Statutory Rape by Sexual Assault, with a bail of P180,000.
The suspect underwent a medical examination at Taguig-Pateros District Hospital before being turned over to the Warrant and Subpoena Section for documentation and proper disposition.
