CAMP TOLENTINO, Bataan — Authorities led by Col. Marites Salvadora, newly-designated police director, are now busy preparing for the security of the coming 83rd year "Araw ng Kagitingan" (Day of Valor) where President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., Ambassadors of the United States and Japan are expected to attend.
In a one-on-one interview Saturday inside Camp Tolentino, Headquarters of Bataan PNP, Col. Salvadora said that they are readying security measures to ensure the safety of the visitors come Araw ng Kagitingan on 9 April.
“We will finalize the security preparations by Tuesday with our police personnel to secure our visitors,” pointed out Col. Salvadora.
She said they see no problem when it comes to security as they are ready to provide it together with the Presidential Security Group (PSG).
“We are still waiting for the PSG who will coordinate with us for the final security preparations,” Salvadora said.
