Parañaque City police arrested a suspected high-value individual and five others in a drug operation conducted Saturday in Barangay Don Bosco, authorities said Monday.

The primary suspect was identified only by her alias, Anne, a resident of Barangay Better Living, Parañaque City. Police classified her as a high-value individual.

Also arrested were five suspected street-level individuals — Maite, Donna, Peter, Darwin and Jeffrey, all residents of Parañaque City.

The operation, conducted at approximately 5:30 p.m. Saturday by the Parañaque City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit under the supervision of Police Capt. Luis D. Gazzingan Jr., aimed to dismantle an illegal drug trade network operating within the city.

Authorities seized multiple plastic sachets containing suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) with a combined weight of approximately 50 grams and an estimated street value of P340,000.

They also confiscated P500 in buy-bust money, two mobile phones suspected of containing evidence of drug transactions, and various drug paraphernalia.

The confiscated drugs and items were properly documented and turned over to the Southern Police District Forensic Unit for analysis.

All arrested individuals were informed of their constitutional rights and brought to the Parañaque City Police Station for documentation. Charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) are being prepared for filing at the Parañaque City Prosecutor’s Office.

Southern Police District director Police Brig. Gen. Manuel J. Abrugena commended the operatives for their dedication and efficiency in carrying out the operation.
