Kris Aquino reveals painful truth about her breakup with unnamed doctor boyfriend, Mike Padlan

Kris Aquino shared the painful details of her breakup with her unnamed doctor boyfriend, Mike Padlan, in an Instagram post on March 16.

“During this time of uncertainty, I choose to share MY PAINFUL TRUTH. The doctor I loved left me because he wanted the freedom to travel, to break free from needing to care for & the reality of KRIS AQUINO who had multiplying autoimmune diseases with so few treatment options,” she wrote.

“Enough time has passed: he did not love me. In my defense, he did receive the correct professional fees, even when we were a couple. End of that chapter (never akong natakot umamin ng katotohanan),” she added.

Aquino then revealed the reason for the breakup: “The TRUTH, in his words: 'INIWAN KITA DAHIL MAHIRAP KANG MAHALIN, sobrang sikip ng paligid.'"

Aquino’s “prayer” for now is "he will now STOP trash talking & cursing my best friends and doctors who are still doing all they can to improve my quality of life, proving everyday genuine love, compassion & loyalty.”

Recall that in June of last year, Aquino told Ogie Diaz during an interview in the US that she had found a new love with a surgeon, whom she did not name. She returned to the country in September and was photographed with her new boyfriend.

Aquino’s breakup was first revealed in the Daily Tribune by this writer on 2 February.
