Senator Christopher "Bong" Go, vice chair of the Senate Committee on Finance, continues to push for infrastructure and development initiatives in Cagayan Valley, supporting projects aimed at improving connectivity, public services, and economic growth.
Since taking office in 2019, Go has backed multiple projects in the region, focusing on infrastructure, healthcare, and livelihood programs to benefit local communities.
A key area of Go’s advocacy is enhancing transportation networks in Cagayan Valley. Among the projects he has supported are the concreting of the La Suerte-Nabbialan-Cordova Road in Cagayan, the San Isidro-Taytay-Nangalinan-Barsat West Road in Baggao, and the cnstruction of bridges in Angadanan, Isabela. These efforts aim to improve mobility for residents and businesses.
Road improvements in Calayan, Cagayan — including the Sagpat-Poblacion Road, Dibay-Dilam Road, and Bira-Bira Road in Barangay Magsidel — are also underway to enhance access to remote areas. In Tuguegarao City, the West Diversion Road was developed to ease traffic congestion and facilitate trade.
In Quirino, the Cordon-Aurora Boundary Road has been improved to strengthen regional connectivity, while in Nueva Vizcaya, the concreting of the Tuplac-Lower Dulli Local Access Road in Ambaguio and the Kapacnaan-Taese Road in Dupax del Norte has helped link remote barangays.

Public facilities have also been expanded, with multi-purpose buildings constructed in various areas, including Aparri, Sanchez-Mira, and Enrile in Cagayan; Bambang, Bayombong, and Villaverde in Nueva Vizcaya; and Cabarroguis in Quirino. These serve as venues for community events and government services.
To improve access to clean water, Go has supported the rehabilitation of water systems in Basco and Sabtang, Batanes, as well as the installation of potable water tanks in Uyugan. A water system was also built in Sitio Mayuray, Barangay Sinakan, Sabtang.
In Nueva Vizcaya, potable water projects in Santa Fe and Nagtipunan have been implemented, while several municipalities in Quirino have benefited from new water supply systems.
Public safety projects, including street lighting installations in Lal-lo and Camalaniugan, Cagayan, and San Andres in Sanchez-Mira, have also been rolled out to improve security in rural communities.
Go has backed initiatives to strengthen the agricultural sector, including the development of farm-to-market roads (FMRs) in Solana, Sanchez-Mira, and Iguig in Cagayan, as well as in Ambaguio and Dupax del Norte in Nueva Vizcaya. These projects are designed to help farmers transport goods more efficiently.
