Stephanie Zubiri, a celebrated storyteller and advocate for soulful living, has embarked on a new creative journey with the release of her debut single, Life in Parenthesis. The track, a smooth and sultry bossa-inspired melody, officially dropped on 13 March across all streaming platforms worldwide.

Best known for her Soulful Feasts platform — a space dedicated to accessible wellness through podcasts, workshops, and meditation coaching — Zubiri has long explored different forms of storytelling. Now, at 40, she is fully embracing her "why not era," a bold chapter of self-discovery and creative expression beyond the written word.

Originally penned as a heartfelt poem and birthday gift for her partner, Scott, Life in Parenthesis captures the fleeting beauty of love, connection, and vulnerability. With its sensual rhythms and dreamy vibe reminiscent of Sade, the song transports listeners into a world of lingering emotions and suspended time.

A collaborative effort, the track features the musical stylings of James Reid, Lvcas Floyd, and Aman dela Cruz of La Crema, who helped shape the melody with rich guitar layers and soulful percussions. Expertly arranged by Eric Trono, the song exudes an earthy, eclectic charm that invites listeners to slow down, savor the moment, and embrace life’s in-between spaces.

With her debut single, Zubiri seamlessly blends her passion for storytelling with music, offering a fresh and intimate soundscape for those seeking warmth, depth, and a touch of nostalgia.
