Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has announced an extended warranty program, increasing coverage for all Toyota vehicles sold from 1 January 2025, onward. The new Toyota five-year warranty adds up to two years or 40,000 kilometers (KM) of additional coverage, provided customers meet the required Periodic Maintenance Services (PMS).
Previously, Toyota vehicles were covered by a three-year or 100,000 KM warranty, whichever came first. Under the new program, customers who complete at least six PMS at any Toyota dealership — one per year — during the initial three-year period will qualify for a 4th Year Full Coverage warranty, mirroring the original warranty terms. Those who complete three to five PMS within the same period will receive a 4th Year Limited Coverage warranty, which excludes wear-and-tear parts related to suspension, steering, and brakes.
Additionally, customers who qualify for the 4th Year Full Coverage warranty can extend their coverage for an extra one year or 20,000 KM by completing at least two PMS in the fourth year. However, customers who complete only one PMS in the fourth year will be eligible for Limited Coverage only.
The warranty extension also applies to Toyota vehicles under Kinto One and Kinto One Business leasing contracts starting 1 January 2025.
